Te Awe together with the Hon Bill English, Minister of Finance, invite you to a Post Budget 2013 Breakfast on Wednesday 22nd May 2013.
Business Health Check Hui
Te Awe in conjunction with Te Puni Kokiri hosted the fist "Business Health Check" Function at Te Raukura te Wharewaka o Poneke on Thursday the 18th April. This hui provided a positive and a safe space for the Te Awe members to come along, speak frankly with their peers and get some practical advice of how best to move forward with the increasing pressures of being in business.
Te Awe Charity Golf Classic
Te Awe was delighted to host a Charity Golf Classic in Wellington recently. Competitors gathered at Shandon Golf Club on the on the 15th March, with players from a variety of local businesses coming along to support and raise funds for the Wainuiomata Marae.

Taiohi Toa o Te Awe comes to Parliament
Te Awe in collaboration with the Maori Party Parliamentary Office set up a week-long work experience for Y12 Wellington East Girls’ College student, Lily Simmons, as part of the Taiohi Toa o Te Awe programme. Lily spent the week in each of the three MP’s offices and got to experience a day in Tariana’s shoes as she accompanied her to a number of engagements. It was a pleasure to have Lily amongst us during that week, and we wish her well for the future.
